At Volition we are proud of all our Volunteers and we like to share their successes. Below you’ll find a heartening testimonial from Edwyn, who went through our Volunteer Programme and we are delighted Edwyn has accepted our offer to be an Ambassador of Volition.
Before Volition started I was in a dark place, lonely, low, depressed and mixing with the wrong sort of people. I knew I wasn’t being true to myself but I didn’t see a way out.
With the help of Anthony, other individuals and organisations I got my life back on track, I discovered that I could live again and be happy and not worry what people think of me but more importantly I started to have self worth again.
The time I spent working in Manchester opened my eyes to what is out there. Over the last few I have gained so much knowledge, not just about professionally but life in general.
If it wasn’t for Volition I wouldn’t be here now, doing what I love doing, so thank you so much and it is a privilege and honour to be asked to be an ambassador of this fantastic charity.
