Heavenly Honey Production 2019

Smile everyone, say bees. Volition Volunteers harvesting the first batch of Heavenly Honey in 2019 ably assisted by our very own Dean Govender.  August sees the start of the honey season so this week has seen volition volunteers transporting the first of the frames of honey off the cathedral roof and down the medieval staircase for extraction.

Dress code was strictly hygiene with everyone looking the part in hairnets and aprons.  With the first stage of Heavenly Honey production completed the first jars of 2019 will soon be available.
