Manchester Cathedral was delighted to welcome Her Royal Majesty The Queen to mark its 600th anniversary this year. Her Majesty met members of the clergy, the Director of Volition and local worshippers to see how they had helped those most in need during the pandemic.
The Queen was presented with a jar of Heavenly Honey extracted and jarred by Volition Volunteers and all dignitaries received a commemorative jar to mark the occasion,
The day was gloriously sunny and members of Manchester’s Lesbian and Gay Chorus sang a melody of tunes whilst the Queen spoke to groups and admired the gardens.
